The literary colloquium in Berlin (LCB), founded in 1963 by Walter Höllerer, is event forum and guest house, work place and breeding ground for talented authors and translators. With its support programs, project initiatives and the tradition-steeped journal “Sprache im technischen Zeitalter“ (language in the technical age) the LCB enjoys a reputation of an institution with international appeal. Readings, workshops for authors and translators, guests from all over the world make the house by the Wannsee to a place of lively literary discussion.
